The Glossier brand based in New York was founded in 2014 by Emily Weiss who started a blog in 2010 known as ‘into the gloss’ (a definite must read) From doing the blog and engage with different high profile women the brand Glossier developed into one of the most recognised beauty brand within millennial's.

When the glossier London store opened all the British glossier fans probably all screamed with delight, (I was definitely one of them) The Glossier pop store opened in Covent garden at 13 floral street, London (definitely a perfect street name to describe the brand) in November 2019 and was originally set to close on February 9th 2020, however with allegedly over 100,000 glossier fans the company has decided to keep their doors open.
When hearing the huge buzz around the glossier pop up store I decide to go look for myself. When arriving at the store it was everything I imagined and more. The very welcoming with baby pink overalls for their uniform. The glossier staff would only let a certain amount of people in at a time to avoid over crowding and have the perfect space to view the store.
The shop has several rooms inside full of different areas you can test and try their products out. The carpet and wallpaper in each room used different colours schemes with the classic glossier floral prints, each room also includes decorations of images from photo shoots, chairs, mirrors, and inspiration quotes. At the back of the shop where you collect your ordered items, there is a London style of a roof top chimney to represent the London store, also a perfect Instagram picture.
After exploring the store, I decided I needed to do some retail therapy, once I had chosen the items that was required, I approached the sales assistant who took the order and gave me the receipt. This is a preferred way of shopping without any tills or ques. I then went to the waiting room ready to collect my parcel with the usual glossier packaging that is always beautiful and includes your name (this is a nice personal touch).
Sadly, due to Corona virus the Glossier store is shut, but soon as its doors are open again, I will be heading out to make my second visit as the store is a must see.
